guys i have this spec system

athlon slot A @650 opened up its a 750
abit ka7-100 udma100 agpx4
256 megs pc133 cube memory
s/live 1024
56x ctx cdrom
diamond max maxtor 30 gig udma100 7200rpm
voodoo 3 3000 agp @180{oh dear new card needed}

if i run 3dmark 2000 then look at my temp i get this

31c for the cpu 87f
27c for system 80f

is this temp ok,what is the highest it can be,am i near the highest temp?
the reason i ask is i have just orderd a gold finger device,so i am hoping to crank this up to around 850-900 as the chip is really a 750 so i would think this should be no problem,but if i am at a high temp already then maybe i wont be able to?

Sounds nice and cool - considering socket A chips normally run 40-50C (and I know slot A chips generally run cooler cause of the big hsf's) you can probably get quite a bit hotter without any danger.

Those are great temps my thunderbird is 50c and its running strong. dont worry and overclock it some more.
