B4 I came here I had my Duron 800 @ 922 with 8*115
I have understood that that wasnt the greatest solution.
Now my question is how much I can rise the bus speed and why I shouldnt rise it to much?
What is the best settings to get to 1GHz as stable as possible with as the lowest possible temperatures.
What is the best multiply settings, buss speed settings and voltage?

well im not sure about the rest of the stuff but.... If you have something like a 512k cache then caches run at a fraction of the bus speed and the more you overclock, the smaller the fraction of cache is available-i have a AThlon 600 and it is useless to OC past 700-750 b/c i would drop so much cache that i wouldnt notice it after like 700-750. You can only go up so much wihtout going down somewhere? Most caches rum at 1/2 speed after700 it goes to 1/3 speed from 850= its like 2/5 speed.

You won't get much higher with the fsb on a KT133 board - 115 is unusually high, they generally max out at about 110 due to the via chipset itself. That's why everyone says to oc amd cpus mainly with the multiplier - because fsb overclocking is so limited. However, as is true with intel systems, the higher the fsb the better, as it'll make your ram and everything run faster, greatly increasing system performance.

Try for 9.5x100 or 10x100 - just play around to see how high your chip can get. Then lower the multiplier a bit and raise the fsb to get the cpu back to it's highest speed (eg if you can do 10x100 try 9x111=999 or 9x112=1008). That way you'll get the best performance from the rest of the system.
