why is my duran faster then p4?

I have a duran 700 256mb pc133 ram in a new msi kt7pro-A board. I have it overclocked to 9.5x107=1017mhz now why in all my benchmarks is it faster then a p4 at 1.5ghz and faster then 1ghz tbird usually too? also I have a geforce 2 mx @220mem and 220core.

synthetic benchmarks almost always aren't a real reflection of performance. i doubt the duron is quicker than a p4 or tbird 1ghz. i get the same results with mine, though. would be nice if it was true. ;)

First of all I thought these new benchmarks are supposed to represent real life situations (sandra 2001) second of all do ppl with pentium fours or 1.2ghz tbirds look at benchmarks and see durans out prefroming their system? I doubt it! It must just be benchmark programs don't have high enough comparisons for top end systems

I also got the K7TPro2-A with Duron 700, but I can't get it higher that 850MHz.. else it will beep... ( a very annoying beep, BTW)
I also have a GeForce2MX (MSI MS-8816), but I can't get my memory higher than 200 because else all graphics are f**ked up!! If I set it to like 210, all textures have spots, many colored spots...
with the beta drivers, I can get the core up to 235, and it works fine (no lines, what happens to most MX's above 220!)
What GeForce do you have, and how did U overclock you Duron..?
