First let me say that I'm new here and totally new to overclocking. I have been a AMD fan for years. I finally made the step up from my K6 and just got a 900 tbirb socket a system with a Asus a7v motherboard. What is the easiest way to get this thing running a a gig without having any stability or heat problems? Can it be done? If so how or where can I look for info. So far I noticed that it could be done though the Bios, got idea? Thanks for any help.

Just close the l1 bridges with a pencil or whatever method you chose I used a mechanical pencil with .5mm lead and it worked great, from there raise the multiplier to 10 x 100 with jumpers or bios which ever (I am not very familiar with the a7v I know it has both but don't know which is easier.) and you should be at 1 gig no prob. If you want to try for much more than that get a good hsf, like the fop38 if you can get past the noise
