have a 600 mhz athlon-what would be the best way to OC. I dont think I can change the FSB in the BIOS. (100mhz) sux i know.(or does it)? I guess i could sauder jumpers on or use a GFD, but if I OC too high then my 512k cache will drop to much to like 1/3 or 2/5 speed-how can i modify the cache somehow to be able to OC high-id like to get 800 out of her. I have 1-80mm intaking air, and 1-80mm exhausting from the p/s, i-80mm from the rear of the case, 1-120mm with a shroud exhausting from the heatsind(Gatewat setup)
Need your help with cooling suggestions also with cache/ocing/jumpers or GFD- what is a realistic OC speed for my chip(mobo is a Jabil Kadoka AMD mobo 200mhz FSb, clock speed 100 mhz. 256 mb pc-100 ram gonna get more and upgrade to pc-133. also i cannot check my temps/voltage with MBM 4 or 5 any other progs that might work?

If you have one of the original athlons running a .25 core (and it sounds like you do) then your overclockablility with that processor is limited at best--I think AMD began shipping the 800 classics and highter with the "newer" .18 cores which was able to obtain much higher frequencies...

If you get a good goldfinger device, you should be able to make your cpu hit somewhere between 700~800 by increasing the voltage and setting the cache to 2/5...

best of luck
