Ok, this is the deal...I was running an A7V with a 700t-birt @ 875--great....but I wanted something faster, so when the 1100's fell below $225, I jumped on one...great, got an 1100 now, but I was planning to leave the L1 bridges alone and try to get my board to do 1210--11x110
As it turns out, I have a really finnicky KT133 chipset (that runs fairly HOT from what I can feel on the chipset's heatsink) that will not go past 103 :(
The next thing then would be to unlock my cpu and clock it at 1200 or 1250, but I remember reading an article awhile back about AMD cutting some of the pins interface on their 1100 and beyond cpu's--anyone know if there is any truth to this?
Also, any suggestions on where I can get some conductive paint or a conductive pen--Lowes, Home Depot--chain stores
I really don't want to do the mechanical pencil trick because I heard they wear out after a while and must be redone
