Canterwood and Springdale owners post your system's results with DDR memory at 1:1 ratio only.

I am using the Abit IC7-G and I have the Twinmos PC3700 rams.

Pentium IV 2.4C (not overclocked)

I have no idea why the Abit IC7-G doesn't have good memory performance when not overclocked. The Asus P4C800 which I tested did 50K at default. However, the default FSB with the Asus P4C800 was 202.5fsb.
Looks like Asus did some nice tweaking there.

Anyway, my ram can do DDR 510mhz max at 1:1 ratio.

Very nice OC in your sign, however the second link is dead.

Well I am not running my CPU at 3Ghz anyway.

I was trying to see if I can use my current rams for the Pentium IV 3.2Ghz or should I get the new OCZ rams.

http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/OCZ+EL+DDR++PC-3700+Dual+Channel+Gold

I wanted to make sure my rams can run at DDR 500 at least.

Just wondering if the OCZ rams are better.

I usually run my rig (see signature) at 3.3 gig using the 5:4 ratio, but here's what my OCZ PC3500 EL RAM will do at 235 FSB using the 1:1 mem ratio.

That is nice. Sadly my Twinmos PC 3700 doesn't like CL2 at high FSB setting.

I may try the new OCZ PC3700 Gold rams. I need to find a site that will have stock.

The "Gold" is not officially released yet. I'll let you know when I see it at the vendors.

Thanks.

I am actually in Hong Kong. It would be nice if you can help me find a site where I can order it and have it shipped to me.

did you try Monkong (sp?) in Kowloon or WanJi (sp?) in HK? but honestly, i don't think there's anyone carry OCZ in HK..... they don't even have A-Data.....asked my cousin who live in HK to find some A Data for me, and he said most shop don't even heard of it....:(

Here's the results I got with the PC3500 CAS2 512 sticks which used Winbond CH-5 from HardcoreCooling.us ... dissapointed to be honest :(

Sandra Mem Scores - 231 / 462 DDR 2.5 - 7 - 3 - 3 2.8v (http://www.developerx.net/benchmarks/sandra-mem3.gif)

Was hoping these would hit 250, didn't even get close!! All util's report mem voltage at 2.78, doesnt even flicker higher :( You guys think a volt mod will allow me to go further?

Here are my scores when everythings set to stock speeds

Sandra CPU Scores - 2400mhz Performance Ultra 800-HT enabled 1.525v (http://www.developerx.net/benchmarks/sandra-cpu1.gif)

Sandra Mem Scores - 200 / 400 DDR 2 - 5 - 2 - 2 2.6v (http://www.developerx.net/benchmarks/sandra-mem1.gif)

CPU-Z Readout Stock (http://www.developerx.net/benchmarks/cpuz-1.gif) (reports CAS to RAS as 3, although its set to 2)

Gonna start OC'ing on 5:4 now.

A-Data rams are available now in HOng Kong. Tell your cousin to contact a company called "Famous Computer Limited". They distibute products with the band name "Magic Pro".

They have both DDR 400 and DDR 450 rams.

Anyway, OCZ rams are not available in Hong Kong so I need to order from overseas. Just like I did for my Twinmos PC3700.

Here is a guy in Taiwan running his PC 3200 rams at DDR 512mhz.

He is using the Asus P4C800.

He has his Pentium IV 2.8C overclocked to 3.56Ghz.
