Have only dealt with Celeron 300A and 366
in the past for O/Cing. Plan on getting
a Abit KT7 board and Duron CPU.The 300 and 366 had more potential for O/Cing than the 400 celery. Is this the case with the Durons?
Does any one stand out above the others? It looks to me like the 600, has the best bang for the bucks.Am I right?
Plan on using FOP-32 or 38 for cooling.
Have Corsair PC100 Case 2-2-2 memory.
Will I need faster memory?
Would there be any advantage on getting the
KT7A board. Don't care about the RAID feature.
Comments will be greatly appreciated.

I think the Duron 600 is a fine choice. A friend of mine has a D 600, and his reached the gig very easily, even only with standard cooling.

I don't know with the RAM, but I think your performance will be better if u get some nice 133MHz RAM.

My answer to your question, "Which Duron has the most potential to reach 1gig?" is:

The coldest one.

The 600 Mhz Duron goes to 900Mhz with acceptable air cooling

The 800 Mhz Duron (I ve one) can easily be overclocked to !ghz (linking the L1 bridges) and bying a Alpha PAL 6035 Fan...(the best one)

Use 1,77-1,8 V ....
