probs lock ups with 1200hz athlon

Im not looking to over clock at the momement just want to get it running,
ive upgraded from a duron 700hz,
im running windows me,
motherboard is qdi kinetiz 7t
agp gts11 ultra,
300watts power supply,
dont know if any of the above is helpfull but would be glad of any ideas, thanks for any help happy surfing all,

when does the beast lock up??

Doesn't sound like the best mobo, so the lockups could simply be due to that. Maybe a bios upgrade would help.
