I have tried to increase my fbs but can only make my proceesor a 856. Do i have to change my jumpers? or should I have gone with a durron.

You got to unlock the Tbirds multiplier by using the pencil trick..then you can change the multiplier on your board.(done with jumpers I think) 800 Tbirs runs on 8x100, if you set multiplier to 8,5 you get 8,5x100 = 850..etc..
The Asus board cannot go high in fsb speed as you have already seen..
Good luck, and keep an eye on your cpu temps ;)

Just check out the manual that came with the motherboard.... it shows you how tho take the board out of 'jumperfree' mode.... it will let you fiddle with those little blue blockes of switches and the clock multiplier as a result.
Cheers! What you need to do: pencil trick-use magnifying glass-
cover L1 swiches on your cpu make them look like this IIII instead of ::::
ok ! use you jumpers-easy! go to page 18 in your manual- connect in jumper mode. then page 23. set the multiplyer to 9x con grats 900mhz.
PS! be careful and propper- and the computer must be OFF!!
you can also O\C the cpu from the bios - in jumper free mode -
adjust you cpu frec. up-- eks 110 mhz--like 880 ok -got it.
keep an eye on your temp,
do not attemt to O\C -ram -ends in disaster!
Cheers!
U could also read the beginners guide on overclockers.com, it helped me a lot. But the best way to learn, is to stick around in this forum. Just read a lot of post's, that's a really good knowledge source!

First you must connect the L1 Bridges. You can use the pencil trick or a conductive pen. Then set the board to jumper-free mode (I don't know why you would set it to jumper mode) and use the bigger set of dip switches to set the multiplier. you are at 8.0 now (I suppose) and to go to 8.5 would take you up to 850 and so on. Make sure you raise the CPU voltage in your BIOS, see page 23 for mult. settings ang pg. 24 for voltage settings in your manual. You can raise the FSB in the BIOS to try to get it faster. I couldnt' get above 103 but I know people that have gotten it up to 111 but after that stability takes a nose dive. Also keep an eye on your temps.
Good luck!
