Air cooling? What is next best thing past air cooling. And how Much would it cost and How hard to do? And would it be Stupid to Buy 2 CPU's? One Duron 650 and one TBird 1.2. And with only one Board. I'm gonna try O/Cing the Duron and if I don't like what I get out of it I have the 1.2 there. And if I do like what I get out of it. I still have the 1.2 There (atleast till I get another Mobo). Any Suggestions would be helpful. Thank You in advance.

The next step up is watercooling - you could play around with peltiers as well, but from what I've heard supercooling socket A cpus doesn't help much, if at all. You'd need to either buy a watercooling kit, or make your own. It's quite easy to make a waterblock from a copper block with holes drilled through it in a criss-cross pattern, blocked off at the ends. There's loads of articles about watercooling on the oc.com homepage, they should answer any questions you have. I'm running an inline (pump, radiator and waterblock - no reservior) system in a ful tower case, to cool my duron at 2.2V. It's great fun to make, and provided you're careful and seal all joins there shouldn't be any problems with leakage. It'd cost between 50-100 bucks depending on whether you bought the pieces or made your own, but in my opinion it's worth it.

Like the others said, don't bother with the two cpus. Get a cheaper one, and spend the money you save on watercooling. It is the way forward ;-)

Ok...You guys got me thinking of just getting the 600...for now. I looked at DangerDen.com Site and saw alot of water cooling kits. Will one of you suggest a Good place to get a water cooling kit. And I have NO tools to do it myself. And How hard is it for a begginner to do. As in This would be my first machine putting together. It didn't look to hard. But I want to know from you who have water cooling...How hard is it really? And where's a good place to get a Kit/Equipment? And I'll take any Suggestions for kits and what to do. Thank you for you time

There's one thing that I have never seen mentioned anywhere before. What about cooling your main system ram sticks? Wonder if that would help in jacking up the speed a few more notches?

I bought my stuff from http://www.dangerden.com - very impressed by their service, shipping from US to UK was a little under a week. I'm using their 'maze' waterblock and copper cube radiator, and they're both very nicely made.

I was looking there too....Very Impressed...How's the Clamp for it? I read the Clamp was Kinda Weak....unless You used a Spacer and SuperGlue. And did the kit come with the pump? and Everything?

I didn't get one of the kits, I just ordered the radiator and waterblock, no pump or tubing. As for the clip, I love it, it's very easy to attach - someone did post recently about frying his chip when the clip broke off, but that's the first I've heard of any bad experiences with it. Compared with the orb clips, which have crushed a number of cores, or clips like on my Taisol (now retired lol) which have to be bent in order to not crush the core, I think it's great :-)
