Is it the board?

Well I finaly purchased my first Intel CPU and Board after being die hard loyal to AMD for years. Question is though, The same ram I had in my AMD Nforce based 400 board that wouldnt run stable above 208fsb is now rock solid @242fsb thus far. Is this system that much more stable?

New board is the Asus P4c800 delux
chip is 800mhz 2.8
