I just started messing around with over clocking. I have an Athlon 600 slot A on a spacewalker AI61 motherboard with 320mb RAM and a SB Live Platinum 5.1 sound card running Win98. I also have the Freespeed GFD. When I first tried to over clock, my sound card wouldn't load. I even tried a fresh install with the new speed and nothing. My sound card is still dead after I removed the GFD. Can anyone help, please.

did you push up the FSB on that board? I've not got much experience with slot processors or mainboards, but if the FSB was up too high, then it is possible the Card may have been fried. Lets all hope not....

ive had my fsb as high as 110 @825 mhz,at 112@840mhz it who start to freeze up will playing unreal tournament,so i backed it down to 110,,this was done before i added a gfd ,did u try your sound blaster in another pc,as that might tell ya if it is fried, hope not for your sake.
