Is the AGOIA palimono 1600+ a good core for oc'ing, how high do you think I could get with an epox 8rda+?
AGOIA is a good stepping for palominos, but what is the first letter or number on the second line on the core of the chip?
If it is a "y" or a "9" then you are in good shape.
If it is a "z" perhaps not as good.
Expect 1.7-1.8 gigs. Possibly higher.
I would same you might be able to get 100-500 mhz out of it depending on the cooling you are using but no that isn't the best core out there @ all. @ the cpu database the average overclock for that chip is about 1700mhz.

Check it out at the cpu database.
I'd say look for around 1.8

its a good core for a palomino, but youde be much better off with a thoroughbred, especiallt with that epox board.
maybe 1.8/1.9 ghz.

AGOIA is a good sign for Pally's :D
A "y" and code 0213 are also good news- many of the agoia Y 0213's hit 2 Ghz and more :D
But any agoia is likely to do well 1700 is just about a sure thing and 1800 is probable.
