I have a TBird 800 and I still have 10 months of warrenty on it. If it were to "accidently" break in 9 months and I replaced it with a newer 800 then what do you think it would overclock to? I know these things get better with time, and by then the 1.7Ghz will be pretty near (if not already out), so I'm sure something that low would have an insane amount of headroom... assuming they are still making them. :-)
