pencilling?????

can someone please tell me how to do this thing called pencilling. thank you......
still trying to over clock my 800 t-bird.

have a look at yer chip. see all the little golden dots and letters and numbers. see that some of the pairs of golden dots are joined together and some aren't? well, look for the dots next to "L1". these dots probably won't be joined together. what you want to do is draw in your own little bridges between these L1 dots, to close the L1 bridges.

i.e. you want to take a mechanical HB, or B, pencil, or a conductive pen, or some rear-window defogger paint on a needle, and close the bridges so there's an electrically conductive link between the little dots. you wanna go from L1 :::: to L1 |||| . this will render your chip unlocked and you a happy camper.

it will show you what proze is talking about, and you can use either a pencil or conductive pen for the same procedure.
