Have the 650 and the defrost paint, and now how do I cut the bridges I *dont* need safely? Heard of an 'etching compound', what is it and how do I get it?
Overall, what all are you guys using? My mobo cannot do multipliers so I have to do more than just overwrite the L1s.
Thanks in advance
I see your problem dood. I hear using a dremel../..
I head that taking a serrated steak knife and carefully dragging it through the bridge will cut it sounds pretty risky ;D

Well, thanks for the reply, Spode!
What Ive done is use an Xacto knife over them, and it seems to have cut them when you look down on it straight on. If you look at it under light from an angle, it seems like Im seeing them still connected....dang, how deep are those things?! I dont want to cut any more than I have which is plenty.
Scared of ruining the chip if I keep hacking......
thay wont be any deeper than the ceramic as thay come out and conect ;D
astromike i assume that your board does not suport bios FSB and multiplier change`s and that is why you want to cut the bridge`s ;D
