While connecting the L7 bridges on my Tbird 1000, I discovered that some of the window defroster paint has connected two bridges horizontally. This stuff is good to connect bridges but it dries awfully fast. Has anybody a hint how to remove this stuff?

Thanx

Thanx Kat....I know. I've already connected the L1 bridges as well. Now I want to unlock the L7 bridges to be able to crank up the voltage somewhat more in my BIOS

if you close the L7s you wont be able to manipulate the voltage from the bios this will set your c volts to max which wont hurt any thing unless your cooling is inadequate ;D

You can still change the Vcore in BIOS. Connecting the L7 bridges will cause the CPU to boot up with the max settings, then switch to the BIOS settings.

to remove the rear defroster paint ... just put some rubbing alcohol on it and let it set for a couple of seconds then just scrape it off carefully with a the blade of a small knife

'do or do not there is no try'

thanks tachyon for clearing that up I was under the impression that once you connect the L7 bridges that the cpu would take the voltage it wanted and that changing the bios settings' would only give the appearance that it had been changed ;D

Why use a knife??? A q-tip and rubbing alcohol work just fine.
