ok i have the kt7raid and if i set it to a 10.5 multiplyer and when it boots it still says 10x100 doesz that mean i didnt unlock it properly?

Yeah, clearly it isn't unlocked. Keep trying, make sure the pencil's really sharp and use a sharp craft knife to remove any graphite from between the lines to prevent them shorting on each other. Have patience, you'll get it in the end :-)
