Hi...this is my first post. :)

I'm running an XP2200+ Tbred on an ASUS A7V333 mildly OC'd at 141FSB and the standard 13.5 multiplier, air cooled, with a Gainward Ti4600 set to 320MHz core and 690MHz mem and PC2100 memory. I have been running like this since December or so. Back in Dec I was getting scores of 12500~ on 3DMark2001SE...but recently, I have been getting scores of around 11500~. Am I doing something wrong? Is my CPU starting to burn out? Is it my vid card? Help! :(

if you were to reformat and install windows again you score would go back up, this is normal.

did you defrag your hard drive lately? that can help bring scores back up a little.

Thx! This brought my scores back up above 12000~ at least. :D But I guess it won't be as good as a fresh install.

Make sure you close out all other programs running in the background, that will free up your memory and your score will go up.

If you really want your scores to go up, increase your FSB. The higher your FSB the higher your score. 3Dmark likes high FSB speeds.

also, you can tweak your vid settings, make sure AA, AF, and v-sync etc etc is off
