This is what my production looks like, according to the stats page:

05/31/03 119.30
05/30/03 317.20
05/29/03 304.50
05/28/03 86.30
05/27/03 91.30
05/26/03 218.00

hmmmmm, i wonder which days at least one of my rigs went down?
does anyone else here have constant problems with rigs or is it only me?

Anyone with lots of machines to watch will have this problem. If they're under you direct control, you might try backing the overclock down a bit for more stability. Other people's borged machines are even more problematic because you're not there to watch over them and by the time you realize there's a problem, you've lost a day or more of production.

The other thing is that it can depend on the size of the units you're working on - some slower machines can take ages so like with my stats some days I get 50 or so points and then the next day I'll get over 100 - it's just because my faster machine is doing 1 or more per day and the slower one only does one every other day or something like that.

I have one rig that absolutely refuses to fold Gromacs. I switched it back to Tinkers and it hasn't missed one since. When you view the Extreme stats be aware that a work unit has to complete before 8PM to make it as part of a given days results, otherwise it goes toward the next day. So as mentioned each day will be different. Some big some small. Add them all up over seven days then divide by seven and this should give you a weekly average and compare that over a few weeks. Big differences in this average will give a good idea of how much effect trouble machines are having.

Also last week we were getting a lot of 38 pointers which raised a lot of peoples production. This week the main units (at least on my rigs) are 53 and 33 pointers. Overall production has gone down because 38 pointers fold faster.

Ya Audioaficionado(man, long name) I agree with the overclocking. I had a 2.4@2.8, ran stable for 1 week straight and than one day, kept restarting program. I have since clocked all of my machines down little.

Just call me audio if it's easier for your fingers :p

I'd like to run 200/2200/1.65v but durring the summer, it's just too hot.
200/2100/1.6v seemed to be OK until it just froze the other day.
Now I'm at 200/2000/1,6v until autum or I get better cooling.

BTW since I've been running FAH as a service in w2k, I haven't lost a WU even after a lockup or crash. A sometimes common occurance durring overclock setting expirementation.

I've been having problem after problem lately. The most recent problem happened when I woke up and put my mouse down, only to see a splash. Water cooling res leaked after 5 months. My stuff is ok though luckily, I caught it in time.

You sleep with your mouse in your hand? :p

Glad you caught it in time.

There is just somthing about water, and system runnng 24/7 without me there that bothers me. I know what you water guys are saying, "it's ok". I think I will keep air.
