i have a duron 750 and if i use higher than 8.5 it will jump down too 700mhz:(
I dunno whats wrong. Looks like all bridges are connected. my friend has exactly the same problem with he`s 700 he tought it was normal but i dunno. Anyone who have got the multiplier higher than 8.5??

I had the same problem, I could only use 7x,8x and 9x.
Try to close the L1 bridges again. I had to do it 4 times brfore I got it right!
And yes that is safe, u can also go higher, just keep an eye on the temp's, NOT higher that 60 C. and best under 50 C.

Experience tells us it has something to do with 'not so well' connected bridges on the processor. Use of special conductive paint is adviced. Maybe Rob Cork's article about voltage modding A7V can be of help, I think he also mentioned something about connecting bridges. Some people use conductive pen's, available at bigger radio-shop's.

That's the way to go! Good luck and mind the temps. Giving it 1.85V (board max) should be no problem (see Rob Corks article about voltage modding).
