PEP66 or Ultra PEP66?

The ultra PEP has the same fan as the FOP38 does - so it'll be damn loud, but might get a degree or two lower than the PEP. Probably only a degree (celsius by the way) - if you reckon you can stand the noise, get the ultra - but the PEP itself is great even with the less powerful fan so unless you absolutely have to have the lowest temps possible get the ordinary version.

The ultra comes with the screaming Delta fan..quite loud..think hair dryer..it also effects cooling in a positive way. It depends on your noise level tolerance. Some people cannot stand the 6800Rpm Delta..others get used to it.

For a Duron @950Mhz or better..you may want to think about doing your ears a favor and not opting for the 'Ultra'. The Alpha is very capable with the Sunon.

Yes it will be yours. Im pretty sure it will. I think you will be able to get to 1000. About the Delta fans. They are very loud. I have 2 of them in my case. One on my FOP38 and one on the rear exhaust. This thing sounds like an old 82 Toyota corolla with no muffler, but I like it since it keeps my case nice and cool. Delta also makes a 80mm case fan that puts out 82CFM.. very impressive the downfall is 62 dB of crazy loud noise!... Opinion from you guys out there.. Should I change my FOP38 for an All-Copper Hedgehog. I would be using the same Delta fan thats on the FOP38 now for the Hedgehog. Does anyone even have a Hedgehog? Those damn heatsinks look cool as balls... and I have heard their performance is good.

imho, i don't think the performance increase warrants the price you'd pay to upgrade to a hedgehog... the fop38 is a magic little hsf.

I had a blue orb (full size) and bought a hedgehog I went from the high 50s to 40C full load this is a very good hsf but it failed to run a pelt on my bird heat saturation I believe ;D
