I just pulled the trigger and ordered a Intel System.
IC7
P4 2.6C
2x 3500 Corsair's
I should have it all Wednesday, I can’t wait. I will also be water cooling.
I hope I can see the difference between my 1700+ @ 2.4Ghz.
welcome to the dark side :)
looks like a great setup. keep us posted how it does.

Hehehe, you will. I went from a 2525Mhz 1700 to the same EXACT stuff as you ordered, except I have 2x OCZ EL 3500. I have mine now running at 277 x 13 for 3607 Mhz. The bandwidth on these P4's is unbelieveable!

Pfft, bandwidth? an extra ghtz? is it rly worth alllllllll that money?
lol i thought about Intel this morning so i checked it out, a 2.4c is 300 dollars !!!! thats more then i payed for my harddrive and cpu and heck throw in shipping, tax and some thermal paste. lol u could get 3, 1700s for that!!!!

So, on average with air maybe 2.2 out of a 1700(prolly more)
thats 6.6 ghtz for the price of 3.3ghtz!!! ok so there are not any triple cpu boards that im aware of, it dun matter! 2 1700s still have more mghtz then any intel chip and the money u save on the third chip pays for the extra for the board. lol all in good fun though and cmon are u not the one crying now?
And to be fair if that 2.4 was 150 dollars cheaper id think about it:D

Mikeonatrike your post is a GREAT example of THREADCRAPPING... If you have nothing to add (other than saying how $$$ Intel is etc), then why reply at all?

What did you pay for that setup? There are alot of us kicking AMD to the curb.... Soon as a save a few funds, i'm switching myself.

Hehe, funny how fleeting loyalty can be. The new P4 systems rock.

Im not loyal to any brand. I always go with what is the best at the time. I have gone back and forth between AMD, Intel, and Nvidia, ATI.
Its amazing to see all these people going to the darkside... including myself :D
