I have an A7V, with a Seagate 20GB 7200 RPM UDMA 100 drive and get the same results as you. I have tried the DMA100 slots as Primary, secondary, on it's own, with 80 conductor cable, and one with the cut in one wire making it 79 conductors. Tried it as above in the normal IDE slots with all of the above and still get same results, but slightly higher than the DMA 100 ports, can't work that out? I have Win ME, tried it with Win98SE, all latest drivers etc and gave up in the end, just wasn't getting faster. I know that the DMA drives only transfer at 66MB/s but can go up to 100MB/s in burst mode, but the 7200RPM shold give them the edge. Maybe it's just the Sandra benchmark utilitie, any one else got an idea?
