? about Alpha Pep 66

i just got my alpha pep66 hsf. is there any difference in cooling performance as far as the fan being on the side or on the top? just wondering cuz i have a soyo k7vta-b board and it will fit either way.

put it on the side like it should be, better performance .

My Alpha are exausting air to the case top. If your mobo let you put it that way, use it. But if the fan stay on mem/connector axis, mount the fan at the top.
Confusing, not?
