This is actually my second setup. I learned a bunch from the first build and from reading the boards here. Here is my humble setup:

Looks very nice, good wiring too :)

Any plans on adding to the watercooling system to the Northbridge/GPU/... ?

Nice.
Clean.
I really like it.
(love the Chrome fan) :D

I like the way you did the res too.
I might have made the res the highest point in the system
that way any air would go there & be trapped, & easily let out.

Other than that. Perfect.

With the top barb being that far above the outlet barb, I don't have issues with the air bubbles. The system completely bleeds itself in about 20 minutes. Plus, I have a piece of filter foam in the res to reduce the turbulence of the inlet flow.

nice and cleen

im assumiong you painted the res..or is there grey pvc out?
where did you get those rubber rings to cover the sharp edges of the case for the tubing to pass through?

my pvc res which is inside my case makes some bends in the tubing...and i never thought of doing it outside :)

I had some regular PVC handy. So I hit it with some 600 grit sandpaper and then used some Metallic-Gray Hi-Performance Krylon enamel. 2-3 coats and all is well :) . The rubber rings are 1 1/8" OD grommets from Lowes.

Nice! Very clean.

You could use bigger tubing to go from the res to the pump, which would increase performance slightly by allowing the pump to work better. :)

5/8" ID?

That makes watercooling look easy, great job man , everytime I see new picks of different setups I start to change my mind on my plans for a water setup, LOL:D

At least. Using bigger tubing from the res to the pump inlet reduces the pump's Net Positive Suction Head, which is great for performance. I'd use the same size as the pump outlet, if possible. :)

Lol...it was possible until I used plumbers goop to install the barb on the inlet of the Maxi-jet. Thanks for the tip. I will remember that for the next revision. :D
