duron700 green core w/ FOP32-1.. do i have a cahnce for a gig??

the title asks it all... i'm getting a duron, and all they have is green cores.
i cant buy one online, (am only 15. pain in the ass, isnt it??) i'll have a FOP32-1 on it. I wont have much for case cooling, but she'll be nakked so it can cool better. what are my chances?? even like 990 would be close enough, is it realistic?

I wouldn't like to rule out the possibility of a gig - good aircooling is a must, and the FOP32-1 will help, as will having the case open (I assume that's what you meant ;-) ). I'd have thought 900-950 would be as near a certainty as these things get, and if you get a good chip 1000 is definitely possible. As long as you can run 1.85V under 50C your chances should be good.
