Go to the MadOnion. There's a lot of tweaking tips there. You should reach 7000+ at least... :-)

When installing the Via 4in1s did you set the VIA AGP driver to 'turbo' mode? Also try enabling AGP sidebanding and fast writes to get the most out of the card, and make sure you're running AGP 4x.

when you run the default benchmark, which is what you should run if you want to compare results with others, then it is by default ('scure the pun) 1026x768 with 16 bit colours and textures. so that shouldn't be a factor.. as with why your score is soooo low, not sure. try installing the via agp 4in1 drivers in turbo mode... try enabling fast-writes and side-banding.. make sure you're running the correct drivers and they're insyalled properly... errr.. not sure what else to try.. visit the forums at madonion.com and ask there... probably get better video advice.

duron (see below) and geforce256 ddr = 6200 on default benchmark. :)

I tend to do that sometimes, especially on the threads with 20 or so replies - takes too long to read them all, just have to hope what you're saying hasn't been said before lol :-D
