How much can i/should i overclock a machine like this?

I'm thinking of 2 possible systems, both cheap as hell for me to buy...

.Duron 700MHz
Super Orb
256MB PC-133
Cheapest Abit Mobo i can find
30Gig 7200 RPM
Radeon 64MB DDR.

.Celeron 700MHz
Golden Orb
Super Orb
256MB PC-133

Which one could I overclock more? There are almost the exact same price, and if i choose to overclock it, it needs to 99% safe. Thanx for your time.

I haven't really looked into duron vs celeron too much, but I believe the Duron beats the celeron clock for clock, and Durons seem to almost all be able to hit ~1GHz. I'm not sure how well Celerons overclock lately... I would not recommend the superorb at all though, get an Alpha or a GlobalWin HSF.

yes duron over celeron ne day...may i make a suggestion though.....i think im not 100% possitive that the 800 duron is more oc'able than the 700...if you can get one id suggest that.

WEll, I think ill stick with 700. Shouldn't make much difference.

I would definately go with the Duron, stay away from the super orb, go with the PEP 66 or a GlobalWin. I have a Duron 750 with a GlobalWin and it goes 936! The 700 should be able to reach 900 no problem. I got my chip from the overclockers store and it was $50, and guaranteed to go up to 950, check them out.
