You guys ever heard of Glint? That's what it is. It was a GREAT card for it's day. But, yeah, it's nothing special now.

Wildcat4.

I'd like to see more benches of these on hardware sites where its applicable, but all they ever seem to use is Quadros and FireGLs, as if those are the pinnacle of video card tech.

Here's what looks like a newer glint-based card, btw: http://www.3dlabs.com/product/oxygen/oxygen_gvx420_index.htm

At first I took a step back because before looking at the pins I had nightmare flashbacks of trying to make room for a VESA BUS card

Note: Oxygen GVX420 is not compatible with Intel PentiumŪ 4 processors.

bet that hurts sales a bit.

Like Stedeman stated...this is a workstation video card...mainly used for CAD/CAM workstations...these cards are awesome for designs...they are far from a gamers or overclockers card though...

Looks like someone tried to pull a VooDoo5 remix... and failed horribly.

i would pay 20 bux for that old card just to drop it into my case for a second monitor :D that would just be cool.
