Thought I'd start a new thread about this...
I've got my 1GHz T-Bird up to 1233 (8.5 x 145), 1260 (9 x 140) and 1275 (8.5 x 150 ) (mem @ CAS 3 with VIO = 3.5) and they all seem stable. If I try 8.5 x 150 @ CAS 2 or 9 x 145 my mouse doesn't work. Its an MS Intellimouse Explorer and when booting properly the LED will turn on/off a number of times. When it hasn't been working properly I can see the LED flickering VERY weakly and then windows says there is no PS/2 mouse attached and detects an unknown USB device. I tried bumping up the VIO to 3.6 and then 3.7 with no change. After that I kind of lost my nerve... I have a 300W PSU and a KT7A-RAID, again, I'd really appreciate ANY info at all.

if you o/c the fsb it also affects the other busses, pci agp and so on. the usb will be affected too. some devices can't handle the increase of bus speed :(

yeah I know that, but I had my HDDs and this mouse running on a 41.5MHz PCI bus on my old computer with no problems this one is only 35 MHz. I had my TNT and GeForce running at 83MHz on the old system as well with no problems. That also doesn't explain why the mouse works fine at 145 with a multiplier of 8.5 but not with a multiplier of 9 or 9.5.

What type of M/B are you running? Asus has a USB patch for their M/B. Check to see if your O/S also was a update patch.
