NF7-S, 2500+, 512 Corsair XMS 3200 ram, Sparkle 350W PSU.

First off, I cant get anything stable past 200FSB. Everything past fails on the first test of prime95, with the multi as low as 8, and memcore all the way up.

Next is the multi. With the 200fsb, I require large amounts of vcore to get anywhere. Multi was 10.5 @ 1.85, and need 1.95 for a stable 11. I can boot past those, but it fails on the first prime95 test.

I am new at overclocking, but from what I read, I shouldn't need all this vcore. Now the reason I think it is my PSU. This is from what I read a good PSU. Anyways, my 12V rail is low, usually between 11.65 and 11.55. Isnt that unsually low? Or when overclocking, does it usually take big chunks from 12v? Or am I missing something?

Thanks for the help

For a stable OC that is pretty low...I never have liked sparkle 350w PSU's...the 400's are a lot better and can handle the OC's better...

I get 200mhz stable with my 8RDA and 300W Sparkle. My 5v dips a bit lower, 12v is fine.

I dont know what cooling is required for the NF7-S, but I heatsinked my Southbridge and Mosfets on this board. That helped keep it stable when running Prime for long periods. I would check the Mobo specific forum for tips.......
