I HAVE NO MONEY LEFT!!!
Which one of those processors is cheap and can easily go to 1000MHz?

Duron 700MHz 83 Euro
Duron 750MHz 97 Euro
Duron 800MHz 118 Euro
Duron 850MHz 147 Euro

The rest of the system is:
Motherboard: Gigabyte (i do not know which model)
Memory: 256mb 133MHz
Hard Disk:30 gb ata 100
Graphics Card: Ati aiw radeon 32mb ddr
Sound Card: creative platinum 5.1

If you don't already have it, download and install sisoft sandra 2001 standard: http://www.sisoftware.demon.co.uk/san_dem/html/dload.htm
Open it, and click on 'mainboard information' - scroll down and it ought to list the manufacturer and model number of your mobo. It'd help to know exactly which mobo you have, as ocing is tricky if it doesn't allow you to change the multiplier. As you're obviously concerned about price, I'd suggest the 700 or 750 model - it'll almost certainly get to 900/950 as I said in my other post, and with a bit of care on the cooling side could reach a gig.

i hit the 1g mark with my duron600 but didn't have to go higher with the voltage like Rob. maybe i'm just lucky in o/cing but i've always hit the 1g, now it's time for some more 8)
