View Full Version : Is stanford having server problems?

I noticed our points per day dropped almost in half and I haven't been given credit for the 106.6 points I turned in around 2-3 hours ago. I noticed all the guys in the top 10 seem to have dropped production also. Is there some kind of problem or are they just being slow?

The site takes a while for it to load, so maybe it's a server problem. I sure hope it's a server problem and our production isn't dropping.

Something has got to be wrong !!. I have 11 machines folding and have only done two all day.

Those wu's will be held in your queue and will upload once server 123 is back on line.

Nothing is lost


But I don't have any units in my queue. My two units uploaded fine at 4:55pm and 5:13pm. I guess I'll see later if they're lost. :eh?:

Ahhhhhh!!!!!

No wonder why when I typed the -send all flag, I couldn't upload this one wu. Hopefully I can upload it later.

i have read on the folding community forums somwhere that stanfords stats servers have been having some problems with staying up, but your results sit in THEIR buffer (i think thats what they called it) and when they reboot the server, it will eventually get you back up to date.....

I currently have 6 WU's waiting to be uploaded. Luckily I was able to get new WU's, so none of my rigs are waiting on work.

I already uploaded two 53 point gromacs early this morning but no new data yet. I hope they're not lost.

for the last few days about half my WU's haven't been counted

The Stats server they use guys is quite old in computer terms.

Thus they have been having quite a bit of hardware failure with them. ie. harddisk problems.

They are working on this to resolve it as fast as they can.

I lost a 38pt Gromac today due to an unrelated problem:bang head It wasn't able to be uploaded, for the last two days. Had problems with my firewall, and had to delete and re-install the console version again.:mad: I am back up again.:D
