I have the money and I am ready to purchase a Abit KT7A and a 1ghz tbird. I have one concern though. I want to be able to unlock the tbird and run it at 7.5*133 or 8*133 depending on how stable it is but I have heard of problems with doing this. The problem that I have heard of are that it won't post with the lowered multiplier because when the cpu first turns on it defualts back to its stock multiplier which is 10 and multiplies that by 133 which gives you 1.333 ghz for a very short period of time until it reads the bios to find out what it should be running at. I don't really want to wait for the 266 fsb tbirds but I want to make sure that I can run at the 133 mhz front side bus. Has anyone else tried this and if so would you please post your experiences. Any comments or experiences with this same situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!
