Anyone help me with a small problem with asus p4p800deluxe

My connection speed is kind of crappy.

Anyone else experience this or know what may be causing it?

I flashed to bios version 1007 and that didnt seem to fix the problem. It feels like its throtteling me at 36-56k downloads.

heh, you're lucky that you even got that to work.

I couldnt even get the LAN to work at all on my POS P4P800 that I had.

then again, getting the LAN to work was the least of my troubles with that board.

Did you install the 3com drivers?

I had my board for all of 2 days and had to install the drivers from Asus' site. Those worked fine. My board blacked out when I flashed it

Also, are you using a cable modem or dsl modem? Router?

Cable modem and router. Managed to fix my problem it wasnt the asus board it was a problem with my home network setup.

iam using the 3com drivers also,getting my fullspeed of 2.6mb/650k on a 3mb/640k connection

Make sure you install the chipset drivers as well.
