agp??

i have an athlon 2000+ 2-256 mb sticks how much my agp aperture should be 64mb or 128 or 256 and so on????

I read a guide a while back that had some pretty good info in it, but I can not remember the conclusion on which is best. If I remember right the aperature sets the maximum allowed system ram that can be used by your video card. If your video card has a lot of memory say 64+ usually the aperature size matters only little since the extra RAM is never needed. That being said I would use 128. You do not want to give the video card too muich system RAM, b/c it will take away from your resources and plus system RAM is pretty slow when compared to video card ram plus distance traveled is much farther.

Anyone feel open to correct me, this is going off an article I read two years ago. :)

If you have 3dMark, just bench your sytem with all three sizes and see which one comes up best.
