its not available in the US yet

but plenty of stocks here in UK which was released 4 weeks ago :D

using a 'b' chip and the 4:5 divider doesn't work so well when overclocked. (might be my 1gig of ram)

the board works good with a 'c' chip.

beta bios' are available which give better volts than the other canterwoods.

i didn't get any extra's like firewire ports. i guess this is why its cheapest fully featured canterwoods. i mean its nearly as cheap as the plain IC7!

sometimes i wonder as to why its so cheap!

if you like your raid hardrives, then you'll be pleased there are 6 ide channels and 2 raid sata ones. tis the only mobo to feature onboard raid5.

i'm looking forward to threads like

"Epox 4pca3+ vs. Abit IC7"

place your bets please :)

Hey shane, you said the beta bios gives better voltages.
how high can you take the vcore with the beta bios. because thats the only real obstacle it seems.

Where do I find that beta bios, just need to know that it really exists hehe. because if this boards gets that vcore boast.. it seems to have it all. dont even have to mod to get the extra memory voltage.

"Mainboard model name: EP-4PCA3+

• Support Willamette CPU PCB2.0 only

See nothing of a vcore increase in the new bios released http://www.epox.nl/BIOS/4PC33608.zip

but if anyone have the board and could have a look, feel free to post if it has a vcore increase.

no vcore increase on the official one

there is 2 new options in the bios, which when disabled i can get higher fsb

Probably have to wait for the next release then..
whats your results so far with the board?
tried with a C processor yet?

performance is on par with IC7's latest beta bios

i get 2997 unbuffered at 200fsb

and thats without using the new CPC Function, cos my memory is only ocz pc3200

me too =)
would just like to see another bios-update nonbeta with the vcore raise. and then a few good examples with a C processor heh. you're getting a C shane?
