I decided a little while ago that I was gonna paint my laptop (see sig). Well, I figured that the easiest way to do it would be to just buy all new plastics, and start from there. I got them on ebay for about $100. They came the other day. I started by taking off all stickers, dell badges, etc, and now it's all ready for sanding and priming. I'm gonna get automotive primer and paint, cause it's the most durable and I'm gonna paint it laguna seca blue (BMW M3 color). I haven't gotten the paint yet, but I'm gonna do that this weekend. I'll let you know what happens - I'm taking pictures and all for a guide after this all. It's gonna look great - I'm excited.

I'm not gonna bother painting the keys - I think that it would just wear off and it'd be a pain. I'm not gonna paint the palm rests either, and prolly not the drive faces either at this point. I can't wait to get out of work and go prep the parts for primer.
