Dodgy pump mod idea...?

Problem: outlets on the danner I have are toolarge to stretch my tubingover and too small to put the tubing into.

What do you think of attaching a 3/8 barb(cut in half) with JB weld?

Its pretty strong stuff, but it would be barbs end to end with a big glob of the weld.....?

or any better ideas? by the way i cant remove the existing barbs on the pump as they are not comming off thanks to....JBWELD.

How about using 2 short pieces of hose to fit the Danner and two 1/2? to 3/8? adapters to convert to your hose size. ? Don't know your hose or pump fittings sizes. You'll lose a little flow but no more than if you try to put the 3/8 barbs on the pump itself.

I tapped the outlet of the pump, check my www and the review I did.
