Ok I have set up my RAID array using the control I command, set the stripe size to 64, and now restarted the computer with my Windows XP Pro disk in the CD. The computer starts says "Boot from CD", I see "ISOLINUX 1.67" come up.....

Then I get "Disk error 80, drive F9", "Boot Failed, press a key to retry"

I have two Raptors in the array that have never been formatted. I simply installed them in the case, SATA cabled them in, setup the array with the ctrl I key (and on reboot they show as an active array).

What am I doing wrong? Is the disk error the array or the Windows XP disk? Did I miss a step someplace? Any ideas?

The more I think about this I would think I would get beyond this if it were the Raptors, at least the beginning of the WindowsXP install so maybe its the CD Drive?
