What needs to be done with this in order to make it effective as a cooler for a cpu system? I have never used one of these and wonder how deep into work I have gotten myself into... What parts need to be taken out? How do they work? Anyone... TY

you use it to chill the water in a watercoolin system.

Isolate the evaporator (part that gets cold), stick it in your res, and your good to go.

It works like your refrigerator- phase change.

I see... anyone have pics of an evaporator? I wanna know what to look for when it gets here.

Evaporators come in many shapes and sizes.

It will, however be easy to identify.
Turn it on and see what gets cold :D

Really the only other major components of a refrigeration system are the compressor and condensor. The compressor will be a roundish black thing with several tubes coming out of it. The condensor will usually have a fan mounted on it.
