posting now from with a 2.4c at 3.24 ghz. if I notch up the fsb even 1 more point to 271 it will not post.

Board is asus p4p800-D. Bios version is 1007, cpu and ram is corsair 3500 at default voltage at 2, 3, 3, 7 timings. memory frequency is 5:4.

anyone have any idea what is holding me back? my voltage rails look fine ( antec true 430).

weeee hehehe. loosened up the timings. at 275 now. hrm. wonder how far it will go. still at stock cpu voltage. (3.3 ghz)

sorry all. just learning. it pretty much capped out at 275 because of memory limitations (well over 400 mhz).

If I drop the frequency to 3:2 the 270 wall does not exist.

sorry

voltage on box is listed as 1.525v

seems flexible enough. runs 3.3 ghz fine at stock voltage wich is good enough for me. It may go higher but a bit scared if thats wise with only air as cooling. I know people are doing it im just concerned about long term.
