UK - Where can you buy Old Heatsinks?

Hi,

Just need some things to make like SB coolers or ramsinks, but are there any online places that sell em for cheap? Or where [offline] I can get em?

Ideally they would be cheap, like £1 each..

look for second hand cpu hsf and cut em up

there about 5cm square and 2.5cm tall come with a 50mm fan but its relly poor so i just use them to cut up not bad for 2.30

Dam i think they have discontinued the one i was originaly thinking of that was cheaper and bigger

but still the one in my previous post should be ok for what you want

Have you actually cut up that hs yourself? Looks pretty big, hopefully my dremel can cut it up How many northbridge or ramsinks do you think you could make out of that?

Thats one that i havent cut up yet i brought 2 and have used one as a gpu cooler on a gf3 thats the other one thats just sitting in my drawer

unfortuanatly there not huge but i think you could get about

8 ramsinks or 4 ramsinks and a south bridge or just 1 northbridge/gpu out of it
