8x AGP on GA-8INXP

Under "FlexibleAGP 8x" in the bios, my only options are 4x and auto. Shouldn't there be an 8x option?

I downloaded the updated bios, which was said to fix the problem, but it's the same as before.

I have a radeon 9700pro. Is there a way to check if it's using 8x as opposed to 4x AGP?

in your BIOS, just select "auto" for 8X operation. You can then set/confirm AGP8x in the SMARTGART tab in the display settings.
