Monitor is Really Dark

I just got this monitor from my dad's work and from post up into windows everything is really dark....i tried setting the brightness all the way up and there's no difference......i used Adobe Gamma to make it somewhat better but its still a bit dark......the Montiotr is a Hansol 720A......i also tried getting the drivers for it ....still nothing.......any suggestions?

Its burned out. I bet it was left on at your dads work untill it got dark. And thats how you got it.

Yeah, either the phosphor or the cathodes are beyond their time. Or both.

It COULD also be a sync issue. I've seen it before when it's out of sync and the image is there but really dark. But probably it's a bum tube, yeah. Oh yeah, it could also be another component like one of the driving transistors that's FUBAR.
