NF7 2.0 + 2x512 TwinMOS 3200 @ fsb 220 with stock voltage (dual channel enabled) !!!

I almost can't beleive it, I have an NF7 2.0 (wih latest 1.4 bios) and first bought 2x512 HyperX 3500 and couldn't get above fsb 200, even with timings like 8-4-4-3, then I returned the HyperX and bought 2x512 TwinMOS 3200, that costs half the price of the HyperX and I am actually running the TwinMOS @ fsb 220 with 6-3-3-2 timings and all stock voltages and of course with dual channel enabled !!! It's 100% stable, tested with 6 hours of Prime95 and Memtest86 !!!

My TwinMOS have Winbond CH-5 chips...

I will try to raise the voltage to see how high I can go and if I can use more agressive timings...

Where can I find TwinMos 3200. 1 Gig IS stable with this board running 2 512 TwinMOS 3200 WinBond Chips? Is 1 gig too much...I guess I could just buy 1 512 chip and put it in the Dimm 3 slott and then get another down the road Iif I wanted right...sorry I'm such a noob

Hey weza were did u get your nf7 and did it come with the latest bios 1.4 or u updated?

My 2x512 Twinmos(winbond CH5) also run dc at 220fsb in the NFS-7 2.0. But I had to give it 2.9V to pass Prime95 over 48 hrs. Weza, try benchmarking memory at your current timing. Then, change it to 11-3-2-2.0 and compare your scores. Let me know how much your score improved (use any memory benchmark prog).

highest i can get ia 220 fbs on the nf7-s 2.0, and thats @ 1.85 vdd, my a7n8x v 1.4 ran 230 @ 1.85 vdd, same ram crazh huh?

Sorry, Ive been busy with my uni exams... but FINISHED now !!!

I live in Switzerland, so I bought the abit nf7 2.0 and the 2x512 twinmos ddr 3200 in a swiss online shop (www.funcomputer.ch), the board had an earlier bios and I had to update it, and the latest 1.4 bios seems to improve compatibility and performance with the ram, many people are saying that ram can overclock better with this bios... I can't tell because when I received my twinmos ram I already had the 1.4 bios...

I haven't tried running prime95 or memtest more than 6 hours... but 6 hours it's 100% stable...

Now I just received my barton 2500+ (green version, looks nice), with "AQXEA 0323SPFW" steppings, it's the newest one, should overclock well...

Will give more results of the ram and fsb later because I have to install the new cpu and see how high I can go with upped voltages...

To any nforce2 users, I can DEFINITELY reccomend 2x512 Twinmos ddr 3200 !!!
