Abit NF7-S

just wandering if anyone uses the onboard graphics and sound on the Abit NF7-S
???
r they good???
cause i wanna go bit by bit in my parts
and would they be good for a few months b4 the other videocard and sound????????/

If you get a NF7-S then you'll be sorely disappointed. NF7-S only has onboard sound, no video.

The board you want is the NF7-M, but it does not have the Soundstorm technology for the onboard sound.

The onboard video of the -M is GeForce 4 MX grade so it shouldn't be too bad (don't know, i've never had an nVidia based graphic card).

The onboard G4 MX will not be any good if you have anything above a Geforce 2 (heard it was comparable to a GF2, but I'm not sure if that's true). Usually any onboard video will be no good, but it can be useful if all-of-a-sudden your real video card dies and don't have a spare.
