I have a Via P4X 266A mobo. My bios can only let me overclock to 16x132= 2112. I want to overclock farther than this. is there any way to overclock farther without buying a new mobo?

extreme cooling and a prayer maybe?

edit: sorry that was kinda cold... some specs on your system may help out though. as well as current temps (ambient, case, etc.).

changing your fsb should get you a bit higher.

your using a 1/4 divider. pci will remain in safe levels up to 156fsb.....giving you a new max of 2500Mhz assuming your cooling could pull it off.

If you need any help just post in this thread or just pm me.

My bios overclocks everything, FSB, AGP, PCI........ My average CPU temp is about 25C. My Average System Temp is 35C. And my stock fan runs at about 4K RPM (Most of the time)
